Trey Williams is the Senior Legislative Associate for the Arizona Association of Counties, where he works with the Executive Director on legislative issues affecting Arizona's counties. Trey Represents AACo at the Arizona Legislature, state executive agencies, and the Governor's office, as well as before Congress and other agencies and offices of the federal government.
Previously, Trey served as the Graduate Research Assistant for the AACo Foundation, and also interned with Maricopa County Superior Court Clerk Michael Keanes. Other previous positions include Policy Analyst at the City of Las Cruces, New Mexico and intern for U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman of New Mexico.
Trey is originally from Hobbs, New Mexico, a small town in the southeastern region of the state. He earned a BA in Communication Studies with a supplementary major in Law and Society from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces. A recipient of the prestigious Marvin Andrews Fellowship, he is currently working on his MPA in Urban Management at Arizona State University.
